HOPKINS, LANA MAE - of Knoxville, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. Our baby went to heaven to be one of God's angels. She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandparents, Mary and Lonnie Trentham; great-grandparents, Betty Jo and Gary Hopkins; and great-grandmother, Mae Whitson. Survivors: parents, David and Jennifer Hopkins; brother, Adam Hopkins; grandparents, Kathy Osborne, Rusty Baker, Randy and Lesa Keen; great-grandmother, Opal Keen; aunt, Cindy Osborne; uncle and aunt, Bobby and Tabitha Sheldon; uncles, Matthew Keen, and Jonathan Morrison; first cousins, Julie Osborne, and Broxden Sheldon; great-aunts and uncles, Chuck and Teresa Adams, Jenny and Michael Hopkins, Terry and Sue Bohanan; special friends, Jamie Earls, Buffey Murphy, Amanda and James Gann. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway. The family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Friday at Tarklin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Joe Lewis officiating.
