Allie Mae Coggins, age 83 of Newport went to be with her Lord Friday evening August 4, 2006 following a short illness at University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville.
Mrs. Coggins was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Martha (McGaha) Williamson and several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving Mrs. Coggins are two sons and one daughter-in-law and five daughters and three sons-in-law, Junior and Julie Coggins of Hartford, Carroll Coggins of Hartford, Randy Fox of Newport, Vickie and Mike Harvey of White Pine, Rita and Wilbur Gilliland of Newport, Diane Coggins of Newport and Linda and Amos Green of Parrottsville; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends survive, Allie Mae Coggins.
The family will receive friends Sunday August 6, 2006 at Brown Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted Monday August 7, 2006 at 2 o'clock at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Archie Norman and Rev. Steve Donward officiating. Interment will be at Clark Cemetery in Hartford.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mrs. Allie Mae Coggins.
