Preceded in death by wife, Ruby Sloan McConkey ; grandson, Joshua Bryan McConkey . Funeral service 8 p.m. Thursday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. John Smith and Rev. Jason Sweeten officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Friday, Haven Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
