Bill Solomon, age 72, of Bybee, passed away Tuesday, May 03, 2011, with family surrounding him at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Solomon and Mae Solomon Holt; sisters, Betty Jean Buckner and Dolly “Sally” Elkins; brother, Jake Solomon, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herchel and Cora Holt all of Bybee; brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Kay Holt; sister-in-law Virginia “Gee Gee” Giles all of White Pine; son-in-law, Tony Lovell of Bybee, Brother-in-law Ralph Blanken of Morristown. He is survived by his wife, Betty Yvoune Solomon; daughter, Debbie Solomon all of Bybee; son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Barbara Holt of Parrottsville; special friend, Karen Winstead, of Talbott; sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Keith Campbell of Bybee; sister, Charlotte Sneed of North Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and David Sexton of Morristown; special granddaughter, Heather Lovell of Bybee; granddaughter and her husband, Michelle and Jonathan Layman; grandson, Todd Holt of Texas; great-grandson, Ashton Thornton of Parrottsville; step grandson, Kyle Lovell; step great-grandsons, Triston Lovell and Hunter Ellison all of Newport; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends, Special friends Carroll and Polly Wise, Randy and Janice Turner, Billy Buckner, Mary Ann Stewart and her daughter Miranda. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, May 5, 2011 in Bear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service. Family and friends may sign the guest register on line at: www.manesfuneralhome.com.
