Preceded in death by parents, James and Lila Henry; husband, Harry Wilson Sr.; children, Beverly Wilson, Linda Wilson Chandler, and Robert “Boo” Wilson; grandson, Michael Shawn Wilson; brothers, Joseph “Spuggy” and Carl Henry, Lila Strickland. She leaves to cherish her memory, devoted son, Harry (Arlene) Wilson; grandchildren and devoted caregivers, Robert Wilson, Jr. and Lori “Ken” Cox; Donnie Townsend, Tanita Dotson, Shantel Cox, Anthony Wilson, KiDaDa Wilson, Felicia Chandler, Selima (Kwambe) Bullard, Adrian Barton; brothers, James (Shirley) Henry, Robert (Carol) Henry, Willie (Stella) Henry; sisters-in-law, Marie Scudder, Arethella Wilson and Annie Wilson; son-in-law, James Chandler; 14 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Family will like to extend a special thanks to Johnetta and Oralee Maples, Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church family; Maryville Health Care, Pro Med Ambulance Service and Dr. Hatab for many years of great service. Family will receive friends 2:30-3 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church; funeral service, 3 p.m. Rev. Richard Gadzekpo officiating. Interment Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the home of Thelma Jones, 166 E. Bell Street, Alcoa, TN 37701. Arrangements by Jarnigan and Son Mortuary.
