HEADRICK , CARL THOMAS - age 72, of Greenback, passed away Monday, March 19, 2001, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Marble Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy from August 8, 1946 to August 7, 1951. He worked at Alcoa Steel and was a painter and farmer. Preceded in death by parents, Peter Alexander Headrick and Carrie Mae England Headrick ; baby brother, Charles Headrick . Survivors include wife of 43 years, Charlotte Headrick ; daughter, Jama Headrick of Greenback; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Randy Stinnett of Maryville; two grandchildren, Jacob Nathan Stinnett and Jaden Noel Stinnett; sisters, Wilma Prince of Greenback; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Samuel Cook of Greenback; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Steve Teague and Rev. Earl Taylor officiating. The Lingerfelts will be singing. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2001, at Marble Hill Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865 983-1000. www.smithmortuary.com
