Joni “Patty” Patricia Maples Acosta, age 51 of Sevierville, TN passed away on August 16, 2012 at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
Joni was a vivacious, bubbly person who loved her life and her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin D. Maples.
Survivors include her fiancé, Tex Helton ; Mother, Bonnie Maples Cooper (Roy); daughters, Candice Acosta Lockard (Jonathan), Ashley Acosta Tidwell (Wade) and Reba Acosta; sisters, Anna Hudson ( Pete), Elizabeth Heasley (Bobby); Kathy Maples Bella (Bob), Joni Little, Alese Maples, Leann Black (Ron); brothers, Ben Arrington (Becky), Bruce Maples (Jessica), step brothers, Brad Chambers and Eric Chambers; grandchildren, Brody Wade, Jayden and Isabella; children’s father, Thomas Franklin Acosta, Jr.; Several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 6.00 P.M. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Rawlings Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Whitted officiating.
The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 P.M. Saturday prior to the service.
