Jack Morgan age 70, Maynardville, born October 14, 1940 passed away peacefully on March 31, 2011 at Emory University hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Jack was a caring husband, father, and very proud grandfather (Pa) to his two granddaughters. He was an honored and proud veteran of the U.S. Army which he served in 1958. Preceded in death by parents Fred and Zell Morgan, brother Joe Morgan and sister and brother-in-law Martha and Curly Walker. Survived by his wife of 49 years Jewell Morgan, daughter Drayma Morgan, son and daughter-in-law Don and Pat Morgan and granddaughters Sara Morgan and Jessica Morgan all of Maynardville; sister and brother-in-law Margaret and husband Clay Watson, Knoxville; brothers Bud Morgan, Knoxville, Dan and wife Mildred Morgan, Knoxville, Harry and wife Rosalee Morgan, Gaston Springs; many nieces, nephews and family members. The family would like to extend a Thank You to all the doctors and nurses who have cared for Jack over the years and a special Thank you to nephews Freddy and Judy Walker, Woody and Linda Watson and niece Donna Creel for all your help during a difficult time. . Memorial service 8 pm Sunday Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gary Beeler officiating.
