ATKINS , PEGGY ANN - age 68 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully Monday, December 19, 2005 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by: husband, Fred C. Atkins and daughter, Tammy Elaine Atkins . Survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Freddy and Gayle Atkins daughters and sons-in-law. Rebecca Roberts and John Ray, Barbara and Robert Cunningham and family member,Greg Horn grandchildren, Wanda Wells, Nicole Garcia, Kasie Sharp, Lacey Cunningham, Lindsey Cunningham, and Christopher Atkins great grandchildren, Conley, Lorianne, Selena, Karina, Kaytlin, Savannah, and Landon brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Evone Abbott sisters and brothers-in-law, Dora and Michael Gibson and Alberta and David Fields. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday December 21, 2005 at Weaver Funeral Home followed by service at 8 pm. Rev. Dewey Caldwell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Thursday December 22, 2005 at Bookwalter Cemetery on Central Ave. Pike for 11 am graveside service. Pallbearers will be: Christopher Atkins , John Ray, Greg Horn, Michael Gibson, Robert Cunningham, and Mark Atkins . Weaver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
