James Lee "Jim" Brewer , 64, of Chattanooga, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003 at his residence. A native of Maryville, Tenn., he had been a resident of Chattanooga for more than 30 years and was retired from R.P.S. with 15 years of service. Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his son, James Randell Brewer ; and grandparents, McKinley and Lucy Brewer . Survivors include his wife, Ellen Brewer ; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Penny Brewer of Rossville, and Rickey and Teresa Brewer , Acworth, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Kenneth Young of Ringgold; mother, Lucille Brewer ; stepsons, Donald and Lee Bridges; sister, Cathy Jenkins; brother, Ronald Law, all of Maryville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the South Crest Chapel with the Rev. Gary Bruce officiating. Burial to follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
