The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late John Smith and Pearl George Smith and the late Clarence Glidewell Sr. and Elvie Dickey Glidewell. The bride-to-be is a 1985 graduate of Heritage High School. She has been a deputy sheriff with Blount County Sheriff’s Office for 20 years. The bridegroom-to-be is a 1976 graduate of Central High School and 1990 graduate of Walters State Community College. He is semi-retired. The couple are both members of East Tennessee Shiloh Riders.
