Wilma “Betsy” Worley, age 85, of Newport passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016. She went home to be with the Lord after a long struggle with Alzheimer. She was a lifelong residence of Newport. Mrs. Worley retired from US Bank in 1992 and was a community volunteer after retirement. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Manes Funeral Home in Newport. Funeral service is Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Manes Funeral Home Chapel. She is preceded in death by her parent’s William and Eula Mae (Raines) Burnett, brother Paul Burnett, and sister Shirley Ann (Burnett) Kunowsky. Mrs. Worley is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Worley, sons Chris Worley and Tim Worley, sister Genevieve Valentine, and five grandchildren.
