Shawn was a member of Sevierville First United Methodist Church. He was the owner of S.R. Drafting, a residential drafting service. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and working at River Island Golf Course, playing softball, and was considered by many to be a pizza and cookie connoisseur. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Major Arthur and Marian Stearley; aunt, Debra Adkins; father-in-law, Frank Sluss; and an infant nephew.
