Irene Hance Williams of Cosby, born October 1, 1940 , passed away April 3, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Della Mae Ball and the late Clark Ellison. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Mitzi Sue Hance, brothers Arnold Ball, and Ted Ellison step sister Edith Greenwalz, and special sister in law Iwina Ball. She is survived by her children Ralphene Ball, Charles David Ball, Tammy Holt (Charles Bugg), Rodney Hance (Teresa McMahan), Hannah Faye Ball and C.J. Ball all of Newport, son and daughter in law Stephen Ball (Lisa), grandchildren Jessica Ball, Gary Ball, Brandon Ball, Kyle McMahan, Aaron Hance, Joshua Hance, Jacob Hance (her little man), and Emily Bugg, special sister in law Jewlene Ball, brothers R. C. Ball, Charles Ellison, Leon Ellison, and Royel Ellison, sisters Imogene Turner (Ailor), Betty Lou Willis, Frances Enfley, Leslie Hope Mclain and Effie Marion, great grandchildren Khia Kolnicki, Landon Ball, Madison Ball, and McKenzie Ball. She was a very special mother and grandmother, special step-mother Ethel Ellison. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday April 5, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Ball officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m Wednesday in Sand Hill cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday April 5, 2011 prior to the funeral.
