Jimmy Ray Mills, Jr. - age 45 of Lenoir City, formerly of Loudon, passed away Saturday evening, April 2, 2011. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Loudon. Ray served in the United States Marine Corp and was a member of American Legion and VFW Post 5150. He had worked as a landscaper with Wagner Construction and Key West Enterprises. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Ray Mills, Sr. and Alma Dean Mills; brothers: Earl Perkins, Jr., Jeff and Steve Perkins; grandparents: J.E. “Bube” and Evie Brown Mills, Eller Bledsoe. He is survived by his daughter, Molly Ann Mills; sister, Pam Randolph and husband, Barry of Loudon; brothers, Scott Mills and wife, Mary Belle of Philadelphia, Harvey “Skeeter” Perkins of Lenoir City; aunts: Norma Hope, Bernice Mills and Kathleen Brewster; uncles. Robert Branum and Ralph Bledsoe; special cousin, Kelly Fagg; best friend and caretaker, Wesley Monger along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7:30 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Kirkland and Rev. Rick Lambert officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10 a.m. Tuesday and proceed to the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Loudon for an 11 a.m. graveside service with full military honors being conferred by the Loudon Co. Veteran Honor Guard. Serving as pallbearers will be: Jeff Limburg, Steve Arden, Ken Brewster, Scott Mills, J.C. Monger and Jim Norris. Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
