WITT , WALTER E., JR. age 67 of Knoxville went home on Tuesday March 11, 2008 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital. Member of West Haven Baptist Church, Masonic Mason, and Veteran of U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by parents, Walter E. Witt and Edith F. Waddell Witt . Precious loving husband and number one dad and granddad. Survived by devoted wife of 49 years, Mary Sue Witt ; daughter, Kathy Witt of Knoxville; son, Walter E. Witt III of Knoxville; grandsons, Michael Davis of Knoxville, Walt E . Witt IV of Nashville; granddaughter, Brittany Witt -McSwain and husband Jeffrey; great grandchildren, Taylor and Ava McSwain all of Knoxville; sister, Marie Frye and husband Glen; brothers, Danny Witt and wife Mary Lynn of Heflin, AL. and Terry Witt and wife Bobbie of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews, many loving, devoted friends. Honorary pallbearers, The Men's Fellowship Class of West Haven Baptist Church. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Thursday March 13, 2008 at Bookwalter Cemetery for a 2 pm graveside service.
