He was preceded in death by his parents Wade and Iva Phillips sisters Joanne Smith , Willidean Phillips. He is survived by his sons Everette Jay Phillips of Cosby, Michael Shawn and Amy Phillips of Newport, brothers Wade Phillips,Jr., L. H. Phillips of Newport, sisters Freda Byrd of Newport, Judy Mason of Gatlinburg, Peggy Wilson of Newport, grandchildren Bryson Tate Phillips, Morgan Rylee Phillips, Jake, Tanner, Keenan Phillips, special someone Dawn Phillips of Cosby, special friends Snapper and Stephanie Webb of Cosby also a host of other special family and friends. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home, with Rev. Stephen Swann officiating. Burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in the Phillips Family Cemetery on Indian Camp Road.
