CLEMONS , HUBERT A. - was born November 11, 1931 to the late Mr. Esley and Mrs. Mamie Clemons . He slept away Tuesday, October 25, 2005. He attended the Knoxville City Schools. At an early age, Peanut, as we called him, united with New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Hubert was united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Marjorie Howard and to that union they had 8 children. He was preceded in death by: his parents son, Daral Clemons brothers, Esley Jr. and Fred Clemons sister-in-law, Barbara Curry and brother-in-law, Jerry Carter. He was a retired concrete finisher and had a hobby of fishing. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing: devoted wife, Marjorie Clemons sons, James Bowman, Herbert and Esley Clemons daughters, Boundra Bowman, Kimmerita Moss, Vanessa and Jennie Clemons very devoted granddaughter, Dariressa Clemons brothers, William (Evelyn) Clemons and Jimmy Clemons sisters, Vivian (Pearson) Branner and Eloise Carter brother-in-law, Emanuel (Barbara) Howard 21 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Family will receive friends, Monday, October 31, 2005 from 12:30-1:00 pm with services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Jarnigan's Chapel, eulogist Elder Joe Maddox. Interment in New Gray Cemetery. Arrangements by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
