MOODY, PAUL GRUBB (GOAT) - age 76, of Rutledge, passed away 5:15 a.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2001, at the family home, after a 1 1/2 year illness. He was born on July 11, 1925, and was a member of Tampico Baptist Church. Mr. Moody is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Kate Moody; sister Erma Foster; brother, Donald E. Moody; brother-in-law, William O'Guinn; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Buchell and Zula Lee Wolfenbarger ; brother-in-law, Rev. Carl Wolfenbarger ; special Father and Mother-in-law, Walter (Buck) and Selda Wolfenbarger . He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wawona Moody; daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Jerry Vineyard of Rutledge, Gail and Stephen Bradley of Talbott; sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle and Agnes Moody of Rutledge, Harold and Sharon Moody of Jefferson City; brother, S. T. Moody of Rutledge; sister, Nannie J. O'Guinn of Knoxville; brother-in-law, Hubert Foster of Knoxville; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Grace Phipps, Vorena Dalton, Edna and Carl Dyer, Jenny Wolfenbarger , Bruce and Easter Wolfenbarger , Rev. Oliver and Carrie Wolfenbarger , Fred and Ruth Harding, June Winkler, and special friends, Bill and Mattie Cabbage of Rutledge. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Myers and Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Tampico Cemetery. The pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. Arrangements by Smith Funeral Home, in Rutledge, Tenn.
