He was retired from KUB as a line foreman and he was a member of Loveland Baptist Church. William is preceded in death by his parents; R. V. and Della Dyer Watson and a sister Mabel Beeler. Mr. Watson is survived by his wife Margaret Morgan Watson of 70 years, a daughter; Donna Creel, a son; Woody Watson and wife Linda of Knoxville and a sister; Betty Jean (Vic) Lowe. Additional survivors include three grandchildren; Joe (Angela) Creel, Gina (Jeffrey) Ginn, Laura (Johnny) Biddle and five great grandchildren; Adrienne (Chase) Roberts, Alex Creel, Andrew Biddle, Kelli Jo Hicks and Emma Biddle. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Bridges Funeral Home 5430 Rutledge Pike. Family and friends will meet at 2:45 PM for 3 o’clock pm graveside services at Greenwood Cemetery on Monday. A special thank you to Avalon Hospice for the compassionate care given to Clay.
