Preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Ida Bell Cooper ; brothers, Verlin, Kyle and Leon Cooper . Survivors include his wife, Ruth Rouse Cooper ; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and V.G. Shoffner, Elaine and Tommy Parker; son, David Cooper ; grandchildren, Glen and Kent Shoffner, Elaina Regan and Nathan Parker; great-grandchildren, Amanda Parker, Austin Regan, Luke Shoffner; brother, Eugene Cooper ; sister, Shirley Fagg; aunt, Rosella Mynatt; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Halls Memory Gardens for interment, Rev. Richard Nicley officiating.
