Walter E. "Sonny" Wade , 67, of Dacula, GA, died Monday, October 29, 2007, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31st, at North Peachtree Baptist Church in Atlanta. Entombment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Wade , a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retired from General Motors in 1992 after 30 years of service. He was a member of North Peachtree Baptist Church and a member of the UAW. Preceded in death by his parents, Dolph & Exie Mae, two brothers, Raymond and Randall, and a sister, Mavis, he is survived by his wife Carrie Aline Wade of Dacula, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Tamra Wade of Braselton, GA; three brothers, Grady Wade of Maryville, TN, Dovel Wade of Stockbridge, GA, and Jerry Wade of Maryville, TN; sister, Vivian Pupura of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Jessica, Megan, Emily, Nicholas, Joshua, and Jacob; and special nephew, Marty Hughes of Lawrenceville, GA.
