BUCKNER, MRS. RETHA FREDAMAE WASHAM - age 79 of Luttrell, born February 22, 1923, passed away 9:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2002 at Fort Sander's Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Warwick's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Hillcrest Nursing Home. Preceded in death by: husband of 64 years, Curtis Buckner son, Thomas Dewey Buckner daughter, Aquella Buckner parents, Dewey and Myrtle (Wallace) Washam brothers, Ed and Cledus Washam . Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Louella and Rev. Don Richardson, Maynardville Velma Drucella and Gordon Harrington, Kokomo, IND Fontella and Albert Sands, Sharpsville, IND Wilma Annette and Louis Grissom, Knoxville Dorothy Jean and Jim Crews, Woodriver, ILL Betsy and Ray Chadwick, Donna Faye and Rev. Earl. Russell all of Luttrel sons and daughters-in-law, Boyd and Mable Buckner, Maynardville Larry and Jan Buckner, Strawberry Plains Donnal Ray and Donna Buckner, Corryton Billy and Crystal Buckner, Luttrell Timothy and Lisa Buckner, Washburn 36 grandchildren 43 great grandchildren 4 great, great grandchildren numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren sister, Imogene Dukes Smith brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Othella Washam Lowell and Linda Washam Vernon Washam several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Monday, Cooke Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Ray Headrick, Rev. Stewart Skeen officiating with music by Virgil and Wanda Yadon. Interment Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: grandsons Honorary Pallbearers, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Cooke Mortuary, Maynardville.
