Lois Inez Pace age 83 of Knoxville passed away peacefully March 12, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born at a time of very little in Loyston, Union County on March 21, 1927. She was a faithful member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, active member of V.F.W. post #1733 Auxillary and was owner and operator of Lois’s Grill on N. Central and Washington Ave. for 15 years and Bean Station Hardware. Preceded in death by: husband: MSGT. Vernon M. Pace U.S.A.F., parents: William Clay and Belva E. Pack Ridenour, brother: Xeno Ridenour, sisters and brothers-in-law: Irene and Troy Smith, Eve and Lasco Campbell, Wilma and Omer Coker and Noveal Ridenour. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law: John and B.J. Pace of Knoxville, grandchildren: Bridget and Forrest Jones, Chris and Priscilla Pace, Kevin Hill, Nicole Pace Anderson, David Pace and Sarah, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, sister-in-law: Louise Ridenour Ratliff and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass 12 Noon Wednesday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Father Xavier Mankel officiating with interment service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, pallbearers: Chris Pace, Terry Woods, Wayne Hinkle, Kevin Hill, Mike Wolfe and David Pace. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
