Rosa Lee Floodquist, 63, passed away March 6, 2011.
She was born January 3, 1948 in San Antonio, TX. Raised in a military household, she resided in West Point, NY, Baltimore, MD, Baton Rouge, LA, and Ft. Monroe, VA. She made her home and raised her family in Sevierville, TN, and later retired to St. Petersburg, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother Rosa Lee Stann, her father Colonel John Watt and grandson Bryce Lewis Collins.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Gus and Julie Floodquist of Sevierville, Fred and Tiffany Floodquist of Marietta, GA; daughters and sons-in-law Susan and Greg Roberts of Sevierville, and Helga and Jason Collins of Sharpsburg, GA; grandchildren Daniel Roberts, Benjamin Roberts, Rachel Roberts, Abigail Rose Collins, Skyler Floodquist and Ava Collins; sisters Charlene Brice Dzierzawski of Dunedin, FL, and Diana Scott of Dover, MA; brother John Watt Jr of Albuquerque, NM; three nieces; one nephew.
She loved the Lord Jesus and was a faithful member of Bible Study Fellowship where she studied God’s Word. She was a resident of Boley Centers for the past several years. She loved and had compassion for people from all walks of life and will be sadly missed by all who love her.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 11 in the chapel of First Baptist Church Sevierville. Family will be receiving friends 30 minutes prior to the service. A memorial service will also be held at the Boley Center in St. Petersburg. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made to Boley Foundation, Inc. at www.boleycenters.org.
