Member of First United Methodist Church of Madisonville where he served as Deacon, Elder and former Sunday School superintendant. Veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy. Member of the Madisonville Jaycees. Survivors, wife, Faye Lee Watson, daughter, Kim Pennington Townson, Madisonville, son & daughter-in-law, William Alan & Joan Elizabeth Watson, Murfreesboro, #1 granddaughters, Emily Pennington & Madeline Watson, Mother, Lena Cardin Watson, Sweetwater, sister, Myrna Sharpe, Huntsville, AL, several beloved aunts, cousins, nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by father, William Ross Watson, grandparents, Sam & Annie Watson, Wesley & Della Cardin, son-in-law, Eugene Pennington, brother-in-law, Max Sharpe. Funeral 8 P.M. Friday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Braxton Cotton officiating. Interment 11 A.M. Saturday, Haven Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Madisonville building fund. Honorary pallbearers will be the Class of 1951 and their spouses. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 P.M. Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
