June H. Glasscock, age 90, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Thursday evening at home with her family at her side. She was a Charter and lifelong member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City and member of Grace Sunday School Class. Retired from Knox County schools as secretary of Brickey Elementary after 22 years service and she was a volunteer at Baptist Hospital. Preceded in death by husband, Charles E. Glasscock. Parents, Fred & Olive Hall. Twin brother, Fred (Bud) Hall Jr., sister, Eleanor Hall. Survived by: sons & daughters-in-law, James F. & Judy Glasscock and Charles Mark & Cindy Glasscock. Grandchildren: Josh & Nicole Yarbrough, Amy Yarbrough and Matthew Glasscock. Great-grandchildren: Jackson, Lily and Reagan Yarbrough and special sweet friends, Carol and Sandy Albright. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Jamie & Jenny of Amedisys Hospice for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association; 2270 Sutherland Ave., Knoxville, TN 37919. Service, 4:00 p.m., Sunday, Central Baptist Church of Fountain City, Rev. Ron Mouser officiaiting. Family and friends will meet, 10:45 a.m., Monday, Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday at Central Baptist Church Fountain City.
