A lieutenant with Employers Security Guard Co. before retirement. Preceded in death by wife, Laura J. Terry ; and son, Thomas (Rusty) Terry . Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Jean Terry , Steve and Helen Terry , Lewis and Barbara Terry all of Knoxville, Phillip and Teresa Terry of Lenoir City; grandchildren Michael Claiborne, Tracy, Jennifer, Ashley, Amber and Ginger Terry ; great granddaughters, Chrissy, Briana, Alexis; great grandsons, Trey and Eli; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Willalou Burnette of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 1:45 pm Tuesday for graveside services at 2 pm. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Hillcrest North for their care and concern during Bill's stay.
