POE , BONNIE LEE BISE - age 74 of Knoxville, died Friday, December 28, 2001 at Atria Court. Member of Cumberland Baptist Church. 1945 graduate of Central High School. Worked for Retail Credit/Equifax Service till the age of 55. Changing careers, obtained her Realtor's license. Worked with Voluntee4r Realty & Ferguson Realty. Cofounded Bernard Paper Sales. She played many roles in life, a devoted daughter, a caring sister, a loving wife, a good mother, a best friend, a kind aunt, a friendly neighbor, an avid traveler and an excellent bridge player. She will always be remembered as an independent woman with sparkling blue eyes and a sweet smile. She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 55 years, Bernard I. Poe of Knoxville; daughter, Sandi Poe Lawrence of Charleston, SC; adopted daughter, Sue Cooper of Rutledge; brother & sister in law, Bill & Ellie Bise of Knoxville; sister & brother in law, Linda & Ralph Carr of Knoxville; brothers in law, Edgar Allen Poe of Knoxville and Jim Hill of Kodak; sisters in law, Margaret Poe of Knoxville and Ina Hill of Kodak; several nieces & nephews, caregivers, Ann Bernard and Lisa Nance. The family will receive friends 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Jeff Lane officiating. Family and friends will meet at 8:45 p.m. a.m. Monday at Caledonia Cemetery for a 9 a.m. graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave.
