CLAIBORNE , MAUDE CLOTFELTER age 77 of Knoxville, formerly of Caryville, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Parkwest Hospital after a prolonged illness. Preceded in death by: her daughter, Ellen Davis Claiborne , parents, Thomas E. (Tom) and Mona Lee Richards Clotfelter , and sister Betty C. Caudill of Sevierville. Survivors: husband, James Edgar (J.E.) Claiborne , Knoxville; sisters, Mary Hannah Henegar, LaFollette, Ada Ruth Lawson, Knoxville; brother, Tom Richard Clotfelter , Jacksboro; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Family will receive friends Friday 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. at Cross Funeral Home and then proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for 3:00 p.m. Graveside service and interment with Rev. Don Reynolds officiating.
