Survivors wife, Margaret Grace Ramsey Painter, daughters and sons in law, Sherry and Mitchell King of IN, Penny and David Cockmon of AR, Deborah Hedgepath of White Bluff, TN, son, Scott L. Painter of Nunnelly, TN, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, sister, Sheryl Hoerner of PA. Funeral service 8:00 pm Friday October 26, 2007 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Louie Branch officiating. Family and friends will meet at Morganton Cemetery at 1:00 pm Saturday for the interment service with full military honors.
