McGILL , RUTH RAMSEY - age 68, of Knoxville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, August 23, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Member of Kim Watt Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Silas R. and Lona Mae Sizemore Ramsey; and brothers, Ralph and Clyde Ramsey. Survivors are husband, Ernest E. McGill ; sons, Gary and Glen McGill ; daughters, Judy Lee and Darlene Johnson, all of Knoxville; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Carl Ramsey of Gainesboro, Tenn.; sisters, Grace Painter of Fla., and June Kirkland of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday at Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel from 6-8 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Louie Branch and Rev. Charlie McGill officiating.
