Pack – Ruby Gertrude Kennemore – age 80 of Knoxville went to heaven on Thursday, February 10, 2011, to celebrate with her first grandchild’s (Jay Petty) birthday who was born on February 10, 1970. She was a faithful member for most of her life at Mascot United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her. Preceded in death by parents, Claude and Anna Kennemore; husband, Alex H. Pack; and grandson, Jay Harold Petty, Jr. She leaves behind daughters, Pat and Mike Bradley, Gail and Jay Harold Petty, Glenda and Buddy Cameron; sons, Sparkie and Renee Pack, and Michael Pack; grandchildren, Lisa and Kenny Ridenour, Joe Bradley, Shelly and Kenneth Adams, Amanda and Donnie Adams, Chrissy and Jamie Berry, Bobby and Krystal Cameron, Dusty Pack and Layla, Josh Pack and Jessica, Melissa and Dustin Muncey, and Tasha and Kelly Pack; great-grandchildren, Eric and Abby Ridenour, Melena, Gillus and Alex Adams, Cassie, Donnie and Justin Adams, Stephanie, T.J., Emily and Jonah Berry, Shaun and Kaylee Cameron, Aiden Ortiz, Lilyan Whatley and Baby Girl Pack, and Austin and Bailey Coffey; great-great-grandchildren, Triston Brown and Katie Tucker. Thanks to all the wonderful nurses and staff who were so kind and caring on East Wing of Holston Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Friday, February 11, 2011, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda Woods officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 PM Saturday at Roseberry Cemetery for a 1:00 PM interment. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
