CHITTUM , DUSTIN ADAM (DUSTY) age 26 of Corryton, went to be with his heavenly Father suddenly on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Ft. Sanders Hospital. Member of Union Baptist Church, currently attended Clear Springs Baptist Church, Corryton, TN. Graduate of Gibbs High School. Employed by Archer Air Conditioning. Preceded in death by: grandparents, Ruth Hickman and Robert Chittum . Survived by two children, the loves of his life, Colby Adam, age 6 and Caden Noah, age 3; loving parents, Jack and Pam Chittum ; brother, Brandon; sisters, Julie and Jaclyn Chittum . Also survived by his Papaw, the man he looked up to, Charles Hickman; grandmother, Alberta Chittum ; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Also survived by special friend, Jennifer Carter. Dusty had many special friends whom he loved, and they loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. He was a loving father, special son, brother, and friend. Family and friends will meet 10:00 am Wednesday at Bridges Funeral Home and go in procession to Washington Pike Presbyterian Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment. Pallbearers will be cousins: Charlie Hall, Jeremy Bullen, Derek Bullen, Bryan Hickman, Casey Chittum , Aaron Chittum , Derek Chittum , and Josh Chittum . Honorary pallbearers: Adam Lee, Corey Bumgardner, Jeremy Mowdy, Paul Taylor and Chris Graham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a college fund set up for Dusty's children, to Pam Chittum , 8614 Bud Hawkins Road, Corryton, TN 37721.
