WATSON , MARY RENE SCARBROUGH - age 71, of Clinton, passed away Monday, March 31, 2003, at the home of her sister. She was a long time member of Riverview Baptist Church. She was employed by Emory Valley Center in Oak Ridge for 17 years, and was the loving caregiver for Missy and Lee. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Julie Long Scarbrough. Mary was born September 18, 1931, in Anderson County. Survivors: husband, I . M . Watson of Clinton daughters, Ronda Bruckno and husband, Royal of Charlotte, N.C., and Ziena Roach and husband, Randy of Clinton sons, Gary Watson of Clinton, Alan Watson of Clinton, and Ricky Watson and wife, Teresa of Clinton adopted son, Hailie Bokure of Ethopia and wife, Mebrat grandchildren, Lisa Whatley, Candice Place, Chris Roach, Iran and Garon Watson , Jason, Mark and Devin Watson , William and Lori Roberts, and April and Adam Watson adopted granddaughters, Mary and Martha Bokure six great-grandchildren sisters, Georgia Smith and husband, Durrell of Claxton, Ann Penine and husband, Paul of Melburn Beach, Fla. brothers, R. E. Scarbrough and wife, Joreita of Greenback, and Carl Scarbrough and wife, Lenda of Clinton beloved sister-in-law, Georgia Watson best friend, Sharon Boudreany, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6:30-8:30 p. m . Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service following the visitation at 8:30 p. m ., in the chapel with Rev. Tony McAfee officiating. Interment will be held 9:00 a. m . Thursday, at Riverview Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, of Clinton, in charge of all arrangements.
