Robert Franklin (Frank) Oxford, 90 Chattanooga, died Sunday, January 30, 2011.
He was a native of Wise County Virginia and has been a longtime resident of Chattanooga.
Mr. Oxford was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II and was a member of the Spring Creek Church of God.
He was a well known area contractor in the Chattanooga Market.
Survivors are his loving wife of 70 years, Juanita Oxford; son, John (Beth) Oxford, Sevierville, TN; daughter, Bobbie (Ben) Brackett, Rossville, Ga.; grandchildren, Tami Askew, Johnna Greene, Amanda Oxford and Melinda Ogle; five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Branam, Rev. Charles Braswell,and Rev. Eddie Mills officiating. Interment will be in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
