CLIFT , BEULAH - age 84 passed away on Monday March 19, 2001 at the St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on October 13, 1916 and is the daughter of the late Robert and Gracie Williams. Also preceded in death by husband, I.C. Clift and sisters, Louise White and Esther Chance. Beulah was a member of the Lyons Creek Baptist Church for 60 years. She is survived by daughter, Shirley Clift from Atlanta; son, Roger Clift and his wife, Nancy from Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Mary Strevel from Strawberry Plains; granddaughter, Candy McGinley from Pawleys Island, SC; grandchildren, Kent and Cathy Maples, Clift Maples, and Kurt Maples all from Knoxville, Eric Clift from Fla., Bryan Clift from Raleigh, NC; great grandchildren, Josh Riley and Sam McGinley all from Pawleys, SC, Jennifer Maples, Travis Maples, Julie Maples, Kendall Maples, Christopher Maples, all from Knoxville, Geoffrey Clift and Jake Clift all from Raleigh, NC, Victoria Clift from Albany, Miss. and Branden Tyre and Dylan Clift from Fla., and a host of nieces and nephews and friends of the family. Funeral services will be on Tuesday night at the Lyons Creek Baptist Church at 8 p.m. Rev. Scott Childs will be officiating. Burial will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Trentville Cemetery. The grandsons will service as pallbearers. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Building Fund of Lyons Creek Baptist Church, 9235 Strawberry Plains, Tenn. 37871. The family will receive friends on Tuesday night at the Lyons Creek Baptist Church from 6-8 p.m. McCarty's Evergreen Chapel 7426 Asheville, Hwy. in charge.
