HUFFSTETLER , RUFUS M., SR. - age 73, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday evening, February 28, 2001, at the family home. A member of Unity Baptist Church, retired from ALCOA, and a member of the 25 Year Club. Preceded in death by parents, Carl M. and Della Wilson Huffstetler ; four brothers, and one sister. Survivors: wife of 51 years, Nancy Carver Huffstetler ; sons, Rufus M. Huffstetler , Jr., Raymond C. Huffstetler , Johnny S. Huffstetler , James E. and wife JoAnna Huffstetler , all of Maryville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Trula Giffin of Maryville, Essie Carpenter of Maryville and Etta Harris of Louisville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2001, at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Gary Cooper and Rev. Jed Emert officiating. Interment to follow at Centenary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
