Helen Louise Smith passed away in OKC on May 15, 2008. She was born 5-31-23 to Paul & Amelia Hinz in Camas, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years, Pete, her first born son, Peter Lee, siblings Rosemary Noah and Albert (Sonny) Hinz . Survivors include children Paula Cole (Leroy), Rosemary Greenlee, and Michael Smith (Rosie), twelve grandchildren, and twelve great- grandchildren. Helen was best known for her strong will, sense of humor, compassion, and resilience. Services for Helen will be May 22, 2008, in the chapel at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, at 11:00 am, and at her request, committal immediately following for her and Pete to be placed together forever. The family would like to also thank Kathie from Visiting Angels for her care of Helen . In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to charities, Disabled American Vets, or TeamAutism.org in memory of Helen Smith.
