NINA FRANCES LICHLYTER DENNIS, age 92, of Dandridge, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:30 pm, Saturday evening, October 1, 2011. She was a charter member of the Central Heights Baptist Church, later attended Lawson’s Chapel United Methodist Church and held numerous positions while giving support to her husband at home and on the home mission field. Preceded in death by parents, Hal and Florence Lichlyter; husband, Royce Dennis; son, Jerry Dennis; great-grandson, Andrew Hale; great-granddaughter, infant baby girl Klemish; son-in-law, Jim Sewell, sisters, Margaret Dennis, Gladys Fox, Bernice Shropshire and Pearl Hazel Lichlyter.
She is survived by six daughters, Sue Sewell of Niota, TN, Jean Esslinger of Fayetteville, NC, Joan (Robert) Imms of Citronelle, AL, Ann (Delwin) Kemp of Dandridge, TN, LaVon (David) Hale of Dandridge, TN, Sandra (George) Dueitt of Daphnne, AL; one son, Robert (Sylvia) Dennis of Mobile, AL; daughter-in-law, Jannette Dennis of Orlando, FL; 24 grandchildren and spouses, 47 great-grandchildren and spouses and 6 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helen Bradley and Vivian Grice; 3 brothers, Hubert, James Paul “Brownie”, and Ralph Lichlyter and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011, 2:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Earl McCosh and Rev. Mike Ladd officiating. Interment to follow at Lawson’s Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
