Thomas, Richard Allen (Dick), age 56, of Boaz, KY, passed away at 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2007 at his home. Dick was Director of Human Resources for Western Baptist Hospital, a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah, and a member of Gideons International.
Dick is survived by his wife, Suzanne Sanders Thomas; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Asheley Thomas of Knoxville; mother, Marion Thomas of White Pine who raised him since the death of his biological mother; mother-in-law, Arminda Sanders of Boaz, KY; brother and sister-in-law, Toliver R. and Anita Thomas of Hobbs, NM; brother, David Thomas of Knoxville; nephews, Kurt Thomas of Starkville, MS and Clay Thomas of Albuquerque, NM.
He was preceded in death by his father, Toliver H. Thomas; biological mother, Vevette Ratcliff Thomas; father-in-law, John Y. Sanders.
Funeral services were Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Paducah with interment at Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery, Boaz, KY.
