Robert Cleo Cooper, age 79 of Maryville joined his savior in Heaven on Wednesday December 29, 2010 at the family home. He was born November 4, 1931. In the Happy Valley Community. He enjoyed the outdoors. He is preceded in death by his Parents: Johnny and Barbara Boring Cooper, Father and Mother in law: Bill and Helen Anderson, Sisters: Dora Cooper, Myrtis Chastain, Louise Lasko, Brother: Raymond Cooper, Brothers in law: James Anderson, Willie Anderson, Eddie McDaniel, Boyd Chastain, Buck Anderson, Johnny Lasko. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Blanche Anderson Cooper, Son: Lester Cooper of Rockford, Grandson: Robbie Cooper of Rockford. Granddaughter: Jessie Cooper of Rockford, Great Grandson: Andrew of Maryville, Sister: Lydia and James Matthews of Tallassee, Brother: Kenneth and Loretta Cooper Of Tallassee, Sisters in law: Betty Cooper of Tallassee, Mary Vance, Barbara Anderson, Frances Anderson, Sandy Anderson, Faye McDaniel, Jean Gibson, Pat Anderson, and Margaret Anderson of Maryville. Brothers in law: Mike and Wendy Anderson and J.R. and Patti Anderson all of Maryville, Several Nieces and Nephews. The family would like to thank the UT Hospital Hospice program and Dr. Roy Kuhl and his nurses for all the help given during his time of sickness. Funeral service will be held Saturday January 1, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clifton Hearon, and Rev. Steve Whitehead. The family and friends will meet at Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church cemetery Sunday January 2, 2011 for a 2:00 P. M. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 Saturday January 1, 2011 at the funeral home. In liew of flowers the family request that donations be made to help with the funeral expenses.
