Martha Alice “Joy” Reagan, wife, mother, granny, and Gigi, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at UT Medical Center. She is a proud graduate of Walland High School class of 1954. She was preceded in death by her son, Benny Reagan; parents, Herman and Anna Hodge; sisters, Eloise (Noah) Hearon; Virginia (Don) Stevens; infant sister, Barbara Hodge; brother, Raymond (Inez) Hodge. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ben “H” Reagan; daughters and sons-in-law, Joy Lynn and Berton Smith, Gayle and Mark Smelcer, Kathy and Chuck Rose; grandchildren, Valerie and Jason Millsapps, Christa Smith and Philip Kosier, Dusty and Sherri Smelcer, Jessica and Sam Owens, Ben and Shay Rose; great-grandchildren, Cayleigh and Makinze Millsapps, Dustin, Emily, and Lindsey Smelcer, Dalton McDaniel, Sarah and Jacob Owens, Micah and Elias Rose; sister, Edna Whitehead; brothers, John “Max” and Wanda Hodge, Arthur E. “Bud” and Helen Hodge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Polly Smelcer, Virginia Reagan, Andy and Fran Reagan, Dorothy Smith, Joe and Becky Reagan, Lloyd and Pat Reagan, Margaret Noah, Jack and Barbara Reagan, Janie Reagan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Dr. Michael Thompson officiating. Interment service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Ellejoy Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
