ADMIRAL DEWEY HOUSEHOLDER, JR., age 82, of Dandridge, TN passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the home of his daughter, Judy Nelson in Erwin, TN. He was a faithful member of the Dandridge First United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Robert Shaw Controls of Knoxville. Dewey was an active member and past master of the Brazelton Lodge # 190 F&AM, the Martha Dandridge Chapter # 438, Order of the Eastern Star and the Knoxville Scottish-Rite Bodies. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Sizemore Householder. He is survived by daughter, Judy (Ed) Nelson of Erwin, TN; son, Jamie (Kim) Householder of Knoxville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Alma Martin and Martha Croxdale; brothers, Murl and wife, Leona Householder, Earl and Wife, Shirley Householder, Lester Householder and Billy Jack Householder; special friend, Lori Jenkins. A Masonic service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, conducted by the Brazelton Lodge # 190 with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Larry DeVault officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Brazelton Lodge # 190, 1802 Hammer Road, Dandridge, TN 37725. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m. prior to the service.
