RIDENOUR , OSCAR OLIVER - of 88, of Andersonville, passed away Monday, January 17, 2000 at Methodist Medical Center. He was born April 17, 1911 in Andersonville. He was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. He was a member of Andersonville Valley Masonic Lodge. He was employed as a Construction Consultant with Cousin Construction in Oak Ridge before retirement. He also operated a farm and enjoyed helping neighbors with their farm work as long as this past November 1999. Preceded in death by wifeof 56 years, Ada Lee Hatmaker Ridenour ; parents, James "Jim" Ridenour & Honta Jones Ridenour Bell; brother, Ottis Ridenour ; sister, Bessie Ridenour Goins; stepbrother, Roy Bell. Survivors: son, James E. Ridenour of Andersonville; son & daughter-in-law, Charles & Sybil Ridenour of Greenwood, SC; daughters & sons-in-law, Kay & Don Tilman of Harrisonville, Mo., Faye & Jim Rzonca of Pueblo, Colo., Imogene & Bob Pedigo of Peculiar, Mo.; brother, Charlie Ridenour of Andersonville; half-sisters, Christine Oaks, Gracie Hillon, Dorothy Hill, Adeline Hill, all of Andersonville; special neighbors and friends, Joe & Pat Albertini; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m.Thursday January 20, 2000 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. John T. Underwood officiating. Masonic service will be held prior to funeral service. Interment will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2000 at Norris Memorial Gardens. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
