Judith McNabb Taylor, age 83, of Jonesborough,formerly of Newport, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Johnson City Medical Center. She owned and operated Judy’s Beauty Shop in Newport for 32 years and was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Newport. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Josie McNabb; sister, Edith Fine; and brothers, Arvel McNabb and Leonard McNabb. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Delmer Taylor of Jonesborough; daughters, Diane McMahan, Greeneville; Denise Webb and husband John of Jonesborough; grandchildren, Jonathan Webb and Sarah Hackney, Jonesborough, Scott McMahan, of Greeneville; great-grandchildren, Connor and Caleb Hackney; sister, Newell Arms, of Newport; also other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Junior Stinnett and Pastor Michael VanZee officiating. Burial will follow in the Fine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am-11:00 am Tuesday prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Baptist Mission Fund, 526 Highway 73, Newport, TN 37821.
