He was preceded in death by his father Charlie Maples. Mr. Maples is survived by his mother Gerldean Maples, sister Susan Maples, brother Julio Hernandez, brother-in-law special friend Johnny Manis,niece Sarah Manis, nephew John Manis, two great nieces, one great nephew, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family and friends will attend a graveside service 2PM Tuesday at Highland South Memorial Cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion post 104.
