HAHN, TERRELL SYDNEY "TERRY" - age 71 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at home. She was a member of Heska Amuna Synagogue and the granddaughter of Max and Jennie Friedman. Forever glamorous and fashionable our beautiful, feisty Terry, who was named Sports Queen at the University of Georgia, was also an avid gardener and patron of the arts. To everyone's delight, Terry was never known to "behave" and she certainly never behaved like a typical grandmother. Terry possessed a wonderful, wicked sense of humor, as well as, the world's biggest heart. She always felt deep empathy for those less fortunate than herself. Most importantly, Terry found her greatest pride and joy in her close relationships with her dear children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Scott B. Hahn, and Mark S. Hahn and wife Ashley Hahn; daughter, Margot Hahn Dunn and husband Clyde "Boe" Dunn, Jr.; grandchildren, Zack Dunn, Sydney Dunn, Henry Swaffield, Cole Swaffield, and Willowdeen Swaffield; beloved friend, Yonlande Andrews; and cherished pets, Byron and Baby. Family and friends will gather on Sunday, December 26th at New Jewish Cemetery for a 12 noon graveside service with Rabbi Alon Ferency officiating. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
