CAMPBELL , EARL E. - age 76 of West Knoxville, passed away Saturday morning, December 12, 2009 at Parkwest Hospital. Earl was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army and was a member of Hines Valley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Alice Jordan Campbell; two brothers, Bob and Roy, and his sister, Ruth. Earl is survived by his children's mother, Wanda; son, Steve Campbell and wife, Peggy of Knoxville; daughters, Carolyn Wynn and husband, Paul of Knoxville, Susan Tallent of Lenoir City; seven grandchildren: Stephanie Harris, Angie Tallent, Cary Tallent, Jason Wynn, Amy Coppedge, Matthew and Brittney Dalton; six great grandchildren; brother, Paul Campbell and wife, Bonnie of Knoxville; sister Gladys Campbell of North Carolina along with one niece and one nephew. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Rev. George Seay will officiate. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Tuesday morning and proceed to Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville for graveside services and interment at 11:30 a.m. Full military honors will be conferred by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.
