CAMPBELL , ROBERT J. - age 79 of Lenoir City, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospice, Halls. He fought a courageous fight with cancer. Bob was a member of Dixie Lee Baptist Church. He worked 42 years at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge and had delivered flowers for West Knox Florist for the last several years. He ushered at University of Tennessee ball games for 15 years. He was preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Alice Campbell , and sister, Ruth Campbell . Survived by his faithful wife of 61 years, Alvah M. Campbell brothers, Paul Campbell and wife, Bonnie, Roy Campbell and wife, Clara Lou, Earl Campbell and wife, Wanda sister, Gladys Campbell several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday with funeral services to follow at 8:00 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City Chapel. Rev. Nick Coker will officiate. Family and friends will gather in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. Friday for graveside services and interment with Rev. Eddie Click officiating. Serving as pallbearers: Don Campbell , Steve Campbell , David Garner, R. C. Ladd, Tom Ladd, and Fred Tedder.
